How ThirdLove Is Dominating

The disruptive lingerie retailer ThirdLove is set to open its first ever physical store later this year, introducing its Fit Finder” technology to bricks-and-mortar for the first time. The startup, which launched in 2012 and positioned itself as a body-positive bra option, will open a temporary boutique in Manhattan's SoHo district—a 10-minute walk from the nearest Victoria's Secret—where it will cull data from customers on their shopping and dressing-room preferences.
In February, the brand announced that it had raised another $55 million in funding, bumping its valuation up to over $750 million Zak said the money will be used to help ThirdLove add even more bra sizes (beyond the 78 that are currently offered) as well as grow into three new areas - retail, international markets, and category expansion into sectors such as swim and athletic wear.

Having the ability to get sized right at home is awesome but now that I have been wearing my ThirdLove bras for a few weeks I can tell you first hand it worked like a charm and I have also now learned that I have been buying the wrong size bra for years, lol.
Ahead of the annual VS Fashion Show, model Robyn Lawley started a petition encouraging a boycott of the show due to its lack of size diversity, according to Teen Vogue ; she partnered with ThirdLove, who donated a bra to the Support the Girls organization for every Instagram post hashtagged #weareallangels.

Its director of product growth, Desirae Oppong, said while ThirdLove's products speak volumes about the company's understanding of customers' needs, for many women who have been disappointed buying bras in the past, a higher degree of personalisation was needed to gain their trust.
It asks about your current bra brand, size, and fit to determine if you're wearing the right size—the company even offers half-cup in-between sizes in many of its bras—and has you compare your breast shape and location to artist renderings to ascertain your best ThirdLove bra style.

ThirdLove, a lingerie brand based in San Francisco, said Wednesday it's rolling out extended bra sizes this month to include bands ranging from size 28 to 48, and cups from AA to H. The online retailer said it did a beta test of the new options last year, and they sold out in a little more than a week.
But after changing the first-touch experience for new visitors to provide more foundational and introductory content for the start of her journey, ThirdLove saw a significant impact at the top of the funnel, increasing its Fit Finder quiz completion rate by 75%.

A Fast Company article titled Victoria's Secret threw shade at ThirdLove, and CEO Heidi Zak had the perfect response” described Zak as the founder without mentioning Spector at all. The super cool part is that ThirdLove ships you a backup size, so you can try on two bra sizes in the comfort of your own home (with all your favorite tops—it's handy to see how the bra looks under your clothes).
Beyond the positive feedback, there are also hard numbers that demonstrate a demand for the kind of personalized, fit-conscious approach that ThirdLove brings to the lingerie market. And ThirdLove's T-shirt bra, through which many women discover the brand, continues to lure customers and introduce them to its other products, such as sleepwear.
